The Undergraduate Education Department is committed to the administration of U.E. of Ophthalmology in ZOC, which includes the management of theorical courses, clinical preclerkship and clerkship, long schooling medical education and educational innovation projects. 

Since the establishment in 2015, the department has made a series of achievements. 6 educational innovation projects have been addressed. One was granted by Guangdong Education Office and five were granted by Sun Yat-Sen University. In 2016, the department was awarded the Teaching Achievement Prize of Sun Yat-Sen University to cite the outstanding contribution in ophthalmic education. As the creator of High-quality Curriculum Website of Ophthalmology, the department enriches the educational resource for the medical students.
