On January 12, 2019, a Volunteer Service Team for Myopia Prevention in the Children and Adolescents was established by the joint effort of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Beijing Tongren Hospital, and Eye and ENT Hospital. The aim of the team is to care for the sights of the Children and Adolescents and promote Myopia awareness in the general public. The Team will strive to provide diverse education, regular eye checks and other services to achieve the goals set in 2030 National Myopia Prevention. The representatives from the National Health Commission and Guangdong Health Commission were also in attendance at the launching ceremony.
