The Forum for Advanced Practical Abilities for Ophthalmic Nurses was successfully held in the Zhu Jiang New Town premises of the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center during November 21-23, 2019. The Forum aimed at improving clinical practice and management of ophthalmic nurses. Aw Ai Tee, Assistant Director of Nursing, Professor Ian Yeo, and Dr Allan Fong of the Singapore National Eye Center, visited Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center while participating in the Forum. Aw Ai Tee and Professor Ian Yeo shared their experience of education and management for ophthalmic nurses at the Singapore National Eye Center. Huiming Xiao, Director of Nursing at ZOC and Professor Haotian Lin explained the general situation and education system of nursing, and the implementation of AI in ophthalmic care. The forum provided an in-depth interaction and exchange platform for nursing between the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center and Singapore National Eye Center.
