The 2022 International Conference on Clinical Research in Ophthalmology (2022 ICCRO) was successfully held in Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center between April 15^th to 17^th. The conference invited 13 world top-notch clinical research experts from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, South Korea, Singapore, and other countries to attend the conference online. And 114 domestic famous ophthalmologists were attended as the invited-speaker. It attracted nearly 70,000 people joined the conference online, making it one of the largest scale & most-watched ophthalmology professional meetings in 2022.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided by Professor Xiulan Zhang of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center. Professor Minbin Yu, Honorary President of 2022 ICCRO and the Vice-president of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, Professor Yizhi Liu, the President and Director of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Professor Ke Yao, the President of Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Professor Ningli Wang, the President of the Ophthalmologist Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, gave warm welcome remarks during the opening ceremony.

2022 ICCRO had put a spectacular program together involving many aspects in clinical research in ophthalmology, including "Young Clinical Researchers Stars Forum", "Clinical Research Master Forum”, "Multi-discipline Clinical Research Forum", "International Clinical Research Hot-topic Forum", "New Ophthalmic Product Forum", "Medical Informatics & Project Management Forum” et al. Audiences actively interacted with the speakers on-line. The organization and structure of the conference was innovative, and the content is professional and cutting-edge, which were highly praised by many audiences.

2022 International Conference on Clinical Research in Ophthalmology concluded with a thank-you video. The three-day conference provided a high-quality international academic exchange platform for domestic clinical research scholars to share and exchange their thoughts with international experts.
