Tao Li, MD, PhD
Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology, Retina Division, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China
Dr. Li got his PhD from Sichuan university in 2004 and completed his postdoctoral training at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University. He has served as a resident, an assistant professor and an associate professor of Ophthalmology at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University. He is the editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases and the member of Guangdong Ophthalmology Society.
His clinical and research interests focus on retinal diseases. As PI, he has finished more than 10 scientific projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science and Technology Program of Guangdong Province, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology of China. He has published more than 50 papers in peer reviewed national and international journals.
